Ferdinandus Bamulki, Chairperson of the Foundation, said in order to fulfill the responsibilities in the social field, the Foundation of the development of Star the Light of Love  (YBBCK) established a formal educational institution through the establishment of a Public School of Panties with international standard dormitories starting from the level of the group of plays “Currently the Foundation of the Development of Star, the Light of Love has established elementary and junior high school, in August 2020 this will begin teaching and learning activities,” he said.

So that the international school that we are pioneering can immediately operate. The school we pioneered we called the Papua Smart School (Sekolah Papua Cerdas) or abbreviated as Pace School. “To organize the basic education of international standards we must need enough human resources to warm up from teachers, school administrators, hostel guards, companions, tutors, school guards, security, and others,” Ferrinandus Bamulki said recently.

This year we have been assisted by the government of the Star Mountain Regency to send prospective teachers to improve English language skills at IALF Bali. Meanwhile for the current facilities of Pace School, the regional government is ready to help build facilities and infrastructure around land locosphere, especially the education area in the star mountains, which is around Yapimakot. School construction, dormitories and supporting facilities of Pace School activities will be built by regional government and are loned to the foundation. The foundation will use this facility to educate, foster and felt the starring star mountain children specifically and for Papuans in general.

Subjects that taught to Pace School children is more on science, language, spiritual development, local culture, self-development, discipline. The materials used to teach in this school is taken from Indonesian syllabus, but we are working towards adapting and creating our own version by translating it to English. Children who come out of this school, may have different qualities from other schools, “Martinus said. He further explained that during 2020 we will use Indonesian-English but for next year everything will in English.

Together with local teachers who finished education in English teaching and/or they have been agreed by international English teaching institutions.
